Brisbane  -  St James College, 201 Boundary Street, Spring Hill from 12.30pm In the presence of Her Excellency the Governor of Queensland, Ms Penelope Wensley AO.

This year’s event will be hosted by St James College, and will feature the “giant flag” that flew over Parliament House in Canberra for the flag’s centenary in 2001.
All are welcome to join the celebrations – please pass the word on to friends and family.

Logan -  Cenotaph (outside Logan Art Gallery), Logan Central from 10am Once again the Logan City Council is holding a ceremony in conjunction with the Logan branch of ANFA.  The location is at the corner of Wembley Road and Jacaranda Avenue, and all are welcome.

Bundaberg – Lions Remembrance Park, Takalvan Street from 10am The Bundaberg RSL Sub Branch, and the Coral Coast Sub Section of the Naval Association are hosting this event, again on the initiative of keen ANFA members Roy and Marie Slapp (phone 41591631).  As well as celebrating “Flag Day” the ceremony will include commemoration of the Battle for Australia, V.P.
Day and International Mariners Day and Merchant Navy Day.  We stress that the event is open to all ANFA members and supporters of the flag – not just veterans or RSL members.
